Eddie, David, Paula, and Paula’s husband Keith are taking on the Forth Rail Bridge Abseil on behalf of FidesOak, in loving memory of our dear friend and colleague, Mark Hutchinson – or as we all knew him, “The Hutch.”

Mark passed away last summer after suffering a stroke, and not a day goes by that we do not think of him. He brought laughter, warmth, and kindness into every room, and his absence is felt more deeply than words can express.

On 28 September 2025, we will take the leap to honour his memory, his spirit, and everything he meant to us. We are raising funds for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, a charity dedicated to helping people rebuild their lives after a diagnosis, so that no life is half lived.

Every step towards the edge, every moment of fear, and every leap of faith will be worth it – to celebrate Mark and support a cause that is close to all our hearts.
