Story
On Saturday May 17th, a team from Fiducia MGA will take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge to raise funds and generate awareness for our chosen charity the Mental Health Foundation.
Taking place during Mental Health Awareness Week 2025, this is a 24-mile round trip and includes 1,585m (5,200ft) of ascent across three of Yorkshire’s most iconic landscapes in under 12 hours.
Why are we doing this?
Poor mental health is a significant challenge facing us today.
In England, one in four people will have a mental health problem of some kind and one in six people will experience a common mental health problem such as anxiety and depression in any given week.
Since 1949, the Mental Health Foundation has been committed to leading the UK in building better mental health.
It does this by :
- Researching and developing ways to support and protect mental health
- Provide evidence-backed advice and resources
- Run national campaigns and work with local communities to nurture good mental health
- Partner with organisations across the UK to take the valuable lessons we’ve learned and share solutions what are proven to work
How can you help?
The theme of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is the importance of communities, something which is vital for our mental health.
We’re taking this theme and looking to raise awareness of mental health within the insurance community.
You can support us by sending your donations all in aid of the Mental Health Foundation, which will ensure they continue in their vital life-changing work.
As well as donating much-needed funds, we’d also recommend exploring the amazing range of resources at the Mental Health Foundation.
These are available to help you promote good mental health amongst your friends and colleagues.
