Story

Fieldfisher is proud to host a fundraising event on Tuesday, 24th September to support two remarkable charities: Headway Sussex and Headway Milton Keynes. These charities are dedicated to improving the lives of individuals affected by brain injuries, providing essential services, and helping people rebuild their lives after traumatic events.

Why the Funds Are Needed

Both Headway Sussex and Headway Milton Keynes rely heavily on donations to continue offering their vital services. Brain injury can have devastating effects on individuals and their families, leading to long-term physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. The funds raised from this event will go directly toward providing specialized support, rehabilitation programs, and community integration activities for those affected by brain injury. This financial support is crucial for enabling these charities to continue their life-changing work, helping individuals regain their independence and quality of life.

About Headway Sussex

Headway Sussex offers rehabilitation and support services across Sussex for people with acquired brain injuries, their families, and caregivers. The charity provides tailored programmes that include cognitive and physical rehabilitation, emotional support, and social activities, all designed to help individuals adapt to life after a brain injury. Their services are a lifeline for many, reducing isolation and helping people regain confidence and skills.

About Headway Milton Keynes

Headway Milton Keynes is equally dedicated to supporting individuals with brain injuries, offering a wide range of services including therapeutic activities, information, and support groups. The charity’s work ensures that those affected by brain injury in the Milton Keynes area have access to the resources they need to rebuild their lives. They focus on community support, helping individuals reconnect with society and find purpose after their injuries.
