This year, I’m taking on four Olympic distance triathlons in just 29 days to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West — a charity that provides specialist care and support for children with life limiting conditions and their families across our region.

My challenge takes me across the South West — the very same region CHSW serves — with events in:

• 7 June – Blackpool Sands, Dartmouth

• 14 June – Torpoint, Plymouth

• 21 June – Bowood House, Calne

• 5 July – Torre Abbey Meadow, Torquay

Working at Wickwar Wessex Pub Co, I’ve seen how powerful our community can be when we come together. All 11 of our pubs — plus our central team — are supporting CHSW this year, and I wanted to go the extra mile (literally) to add something personal to that effort.

CHSW brings comfort, care, and precious moments to families facing the toughest circumstances imaginable. Every donation helps them continue their incredible work across the South West.
