Story
In 2024, I drove over 1300 miles to deliver an emergency vehicle and humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Now, I need your help to do it again.
I've partnered with Sunflower Scotland (SC052092), an Edinburgh based charity who deliver life-saving kit and vehicles to hospitals, medics, orphanages, and villages across the front line in Ukraine. I'm raising funds to purchase a vehicle for one of their air convoys, which I plan to drive personally to Ukraine.
A reliable vehicle can be the difference between life and death in Ukraine. With roads too damaged for regular cars, and Russian drones hunting ambulances and lorries, civilian 4x4s are the lifeblood of frontline areas, bringing in food, fuel and medical supplies, and evacuating wounded defender and civilians.
Around 3000 of these trucks are damaged or destroyed by the Russians, every single month. The need has never been greater. With Donald Trump more interested in bombing Iran and pleasing Putin than supporting Ukraine, we need to step up as individuals to help them win their fight for survival.
For an idea of the things we can achieve together, see the milestones below:
£500 EcoFlow generator
£750 cost of an ambulance stretcher
£1,000 cost of preparing a vehicle (tyres/ service/ repairs etc)
£2,000-£2,500 Cost of a 4x4
£3,500- £4000 Purchase of a car and the cost of taking it to Ukraine
£5,000-£5,500 entire trip paid for including purchasing vehicle, prep, customs declarations and the trip itself
Thank you for taking the time to read. Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated, as would sharing this fundraiser with friends, family and colleagues.
