Staff V Student Charity Football Match · 20 March 2024

We work with separated young refugees and asylum seekers, also known as UASC (Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children). These are young people aged 16 to 24 who have arrived in Kent alone and are claiming asylum. We provide them with a safe, positive space and support them to succeed.

Story

Kent Refugee Action Network is an independent charity that provides help and support to asylum seekers and refugees, including minors who have arrived in the United Kingdom unaccompanied by an adult.

Via an experienced dedicated team of voluntary and paid staff, we are proud to help this distressed, often vilified yet courageous and resourceful group of young people.

Their mission is to relieve the need and hardship of refugees, asylum seekers and their dependents and ethnic minorities, principally in Kent, particularly by the provision of advice, information, education and support; and to advance public education about the position of refugees and ethnic minorities.

FAC are playing a staff v student charity football match at 5pm on Wednesday 20th March 2024. The location for the game is Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre astroturf pitches.

We appreciate your support and donations and hope to see you there to cheer the team on.
