Story
The Finecast team (AKA the Finecast Rumblers!) are super excited to announce that we are taking part in the South Coast Ultra Challenge! A 100 km walk from Eastbourne to Arundel over two days, to raise money for an amazing charity close to all our hearts, The British Heart Foundation.
Our Mission
It’s our mission to raise as much money for this amazing life-changing charity. The target, with your help, is to raise at least £15,000! with your charitable support, we can do it together!
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.
Every pound helps so please give what you can to help us hit our target.
The Route
We’re getting ready for an epic adventure! Let’s check out the route we are going to take!
Day 1 – Distance 55km / Climb 1310m
The journey will begin in the coastal town of Eastbourne, making our way up to the breathtaking Beachy Head, Cuckmere Haven and the magnificent Seven Sisters, we’ll then make our way along the South Downs Way to the halfway point at Hove Park, where we will camp for the night.
Day 2 – Distance 45km / Climb 860m
We’ll continue our walk from Hove Park up to Devil’s Dyke and across the South Downs Way, past Chanctonbury Ring to Amberley, and then down to the finish line at the historical town of Arundel.
Let’s tackle this epic challenge together and raise some serious money for the British Heart Foundation!
