Finn's Cycling The Length Of The Irish Coast In Memory Of Oma

Finlay Jones is raising money for Nightwatch
In memory of Oma

Cycling the length of the west coast of Ireland · 2 April 2026

Every evening, a team of Nightwatch volunteers provides food in the middle of Croydon. We also provide clothing, toiletries and sleeping bags. In order to improve the life of people, we provide furniture and support for education. A hardship fund is available to resolve short term financial hurdles.

Story

For those who may not know, my grandma (Oma) passed away towards the end of 2025. She was the most selfless person I have ever known and dedicated a large part of her life to supporting charities that help the homeless community. Even after her passing, I want to continue supporting the cause that meant so much to her.

In April, I’ll be taking on the challenge of cycling the entire length of the west coast of Ireland—facing wind, rain, and very sore legs. But these challenges are nothing compared to what people in our communities endure while living on the streets every day.

I’m raising money for Nightwatch, a charity that Oma volunteered with. They provide essential support such as food, clothing, toiletries, and sleeping bags to those in need.

I hope I can do her proud! Any donation, no matter the size, is hugely appreciated. Thank you for helping me continue her good work.
