In January this year we lost my amazing aunt to secondary breast cancer. She spent many years fighting, and had a close connection to Katharine House and all of the wonderful staff there. She spent 3 weeks there at the end of her life and it was lovely to see her so comfortable and happy. Katharine House was a huge support to her and helped her, a place that allowed her to sparkle!!

I want to give back to such an incredible and important home in our community. I will be taking on the Trek China Challenge fundraiser as my support, together with Auntie Sarah's husband, my Uncle Gavin.

We will be walking on her birthday, the 14th October, so it is just meant to be!

Katharine House relies heavily on the local community to help fund the hospice. It costs £16,261 per day to run Katharine House Hospice. Your donation will not only help to fund the clinical costs at the hospice, but also all the extra services that make it such a special place – from bereavement support to art therapies, from relaxation classes to the hospice food and so much more.
