We have recently learnt about the meaning of food poverty at school, and were shocked to learn that 1 in 5 people in the UK live in poverty and regularly rely on foodbanks for their meals.

In our local neighbourhood alone the Epsom and Ewell foodbank provided over 10 000 food packs of 3 day emergency food supplies to families in our community in 2023.

We would like to support the amazing work the Epsom and Ewell Foodbank work are doing in our neighbourhood by raising money for the Trussell Trust.

*Our goal is to walk, run, cycle or sail 2 miles or more every consecutive day of our 60 day summer holiday, and make a difference for families in poverty along the way.*
