Story
This March, I'm going to complete 70 bouldering routes to raise money for Maddy's Mark.
Maddy and I went to school together, and I have fond memories of her humour and positivity during our French and Spanish lessons. Three years ago this month, she was admitted to hospital after sustaining a rugby injury. Tragically, despite putting up a courageous fight, she passed away from sepsis two weeks later.
Maddy's family set up Maddy's Mark to support two causes close to her heart: mental health and rugby. The charity is working hard to support girls and young women in reaching their potential and building their confidence, particularly through sport, and has already donated £80,000 towards this mission.
Throughout March, I have set myself the challenge of completing 70 bouldering routes to support Maddy's Mark. Despite being a painfully unsporty person, bouldering has brought me a lot of joy over the last few months, and I look forward to climbing out of my comfort zone for a few weeks!
If you're able, I would hugely appreciate any donations! Thank you! :)
