Thank you for supporting the Charlie Hunt Fund page, raising funds in memory of Charlie for the bone and soft tissue cancer charity Sarcoma UK.

Story

Thank you for visiting my page. I have madly agreed to run (or limp round) London Marathon 2025 in memory of an inspirational friend Charlie Hunt. How could I say no to Thandi (his widow) when she asked!

Eek not long to go!

When Charlie was diagnosed with Sarcoma, his indomitable personality shone throughout. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat.

His determination to make a difference, positivity and never give up attitude have inspired me to take on this challenge, which is why I've chosen to support The Charlie Hunt Fund by raising funds for Sarcoma UK.

Having experienced firsthand the effects of a cancer diagnoses within my own family, albeit a different type, I am very aware of the importance of fundraising for vital research and support for anyone affected by cancer.

Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep the specialist Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care for sarcoma cancer.

Thank you.
