I'm raising money for Prostate Cancer UK as both my Father and Uncle both received a diagnosis of Prostate Cancer from having a PSA test.

By raising money we are helping to contribute to research to find quicker ways to diagnose, easier and less invasive ways to diagnose and better ways to treat.

Catching any kind of cancer early is always good for a better prognosis but this can only happen with research and test trials. This can't happen unless there's money to fund the research.

Please give as little or as much that you can afford. Every single penny counts.

In the UK, one in eight men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, with the risk increasing for men over 50, particularly for black men and those with a family history of the disease. Prostate cancer affects over 55,000 men annually, including trans women and non-binary individuals with a prostate.

The NHS also provides guidance on PSA screening and the various treatment approaches, which may include "watchful waiting" or "active surveillance" depending on the cancer's stage and the patient's overall health.
