Our dippy gang would love to support this local charity as they open their new home in the heart of North Shields and any donation is very welcome

For a while now our dippy gang have been discussing the possibility of having a dip to raise some money for Live Well With Cancer and thought that their birthday weekend would be the best time to do it 

We are suggesting meeting at Cullercoats Bay on Sunday 12th November at 930 for a photo and dip at 10.00

The charity have kindly offered to provide a woolly hat for all dip participants and a hot drink and a slice of something tasty post dip

We thought that a suggested donation to dip of £15 sounds suitable - please add your name to the donation and quote “I’m dippy!”

If you would like to join us and bring a friend or two please could you email fiona-clark@live.co.uk before October 28th so that hats etc can be organised

Just to add that we do recommend that this is only a dip, the sea can be unpredictable especially at this time of year so please keep yourself safe, stick together and if this is your friends first dip we would ask you to keep their time in the water limited to 5 minutes 

Our dippy gang will be there to support you, hold your hand, cheer you in and help with your breathing techniques 

This is not an officially organised event and is at your own risk so please remember to bring lots of layers for afterwards
