Story
In October this year I'm joing a group of about 20 cyclists from the UK on a charity bike ride in Tanzania, in aid of The Urology Foundation. We will be near Mt Kilimanjaro, Moshi and Arusha, and cycling through Maasai villages, 345km in total.
The Urology Foundation (TUF) is the only UK charity dedicated to fighting all urology diseases. It is committed to finding new treatments and cures for all those with urology diseases, improving clinical practice and driving change based on research outcomes.
During the last 30 years, TUF has invested £10.8 million into urology research and training that has significantly advanced our understanding of urological cancers and conditions and how to treat them.
More recently, TUF has also made strides in raising awareness of urology health and campaigning to improve outcomes and quality of life. From community outreach events to national campaigns and driving policy change through Parliamentary events and activities, TUF is now working hard to promote excellent urology for all.
