In April 2027, our current children's inpatient & day care unit will be relocating from Poole Hospital to our new home on the top floor of the BEACH building at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. To raise awareness of this big move and fundraise for extra special finishing touches, a group of UHD children's nurses, doctors and allied health professionals will be walking 12'ish' miles from our current unit in Poole along the coast to our new unit in Bournemouth.

The needs of children, young people and their families have been at the heart of the design of our new inpatient unit and we're so excited to move in to a brand new, purpose built space. We'd love your help to make the wards extra special to ensure children and young people have the happiest hsopital experience possible. Items we're fundraising for include child friendly art work, sensory equipment, toys and games and equipment for our recreation spaces.
