Story

This October, I’m swapping my car keys for walking shoes. Instead of driving, I’ll be walking over 3 miles to work every morning – through wind, rain, and whatever the Northern Irish weather throws at me – all to raise money for our Lisburn Foodbank.
Why? Because for so many people right now, getting into a cosy car isn’t a choice. With the cost of living so high, there are families and individuals who can’t even afford the bus fare; some have had to sell their cars. For them, long walks to work, school, or the shop are a daily reality – and for some, food banks are their only lifeline.
I want to use this challenge to shine a light on that reality and raise vital funds to help those struggling most. Every pound donated goes directly towards supporting people in our community who are facing hardship. My target is £1,000.
If you can, please donate and share – together, we can make a real difference. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
