After taking a break from cycling, I'm back at it again, this time raising money for The Littlest Lives Rescue.

The Littlest Lives Rescue is a Bristol based charity who rescue, rehabilitate and rehome rabbits in the local area. They also educate on rabbit welfare and care.

Rabbits are the third most popular pet in the UK, but the most misunderstood and most neglected. Rabbits can live 10-12 years, yet 80% of rabbits bought at Easter either die or are abandoned.

Around 100,000 rabbits end up in rescues every year. That's just the rabbits the rescues are about to get to, many more a dumped and succumb to predators or starvation.

On top of that around half of rabbits don't have their welfare requirements met in their home.

I volunteer for the charity, fostering bunnies for them. It has opened my eyes to these beautiful animals and the care they need to thrive
