If you know me, you probably know that I like a bit of swimming. It began ten years ago, when I was looking out at Brownsea Island in Poole harbour and wondered whether maybe, just maybe, I could swim the 6.5km round it. I managed it then and now, having aged ten years and lost a LOT of fitness, I'm going to try it again.

I'm at least as scared of the challenge as I was first time round!

This time, I'm raising money for the fabulous charity I work for - Connection Support. We work to prevent homelessness across the Thames Valley and I can personally vouch for how life-changing the work is. If you can spare me a few pounds towards this excellent cause, it would encourage me no end to get into the pool and do some training!
