Story
For those who know me, you’ll know that in 2021 my brother Bri lost his battle with cancer.
This year, on 28th May, it is his 60th birthday.
To mark that date and everything he means to me, I’ll be walking the Cumbria Way (71 miles) from 1st–5th June. I’ll be carrying everything I need in my backpack, and thoughts of Bri every step .
This walk is a way of remembering Bri, honouring his life, and marking what would have been a milestone birthday.
I’m also using this challenge to raise money for Andy’s Man Club. They do important work creating safe spaces for men to talk, especially when life feels heavy and reaching out feels difficult. If this journey can help even one person feel less alone, it will mean a great deal.
Life can be tough, and support matters more than we often say out loud.
If you’re able to donate or share, it would be deeply appreciated. Most of all, thank you for reading and for being part of this.
