RISE help those affected by domestic abuse. They work alongside survivors by giving practical support to help them rebuild safer lives. This can only be achieved through the money raised at our events, including the RISE 8K.

RISE is a Brighton based domestic violence and abuse charity that has worked for 26 years to end all forms of violence and abuse against women, their families and those identifying as LGBTQ+. RISE stands for Refuge, Information, Support and Education; our strategic mission is: freedom from abuse and violence. RISE reaches across Brighton & Hove, providing wrap-around services for adults and children on their recovery journey, following experiences of domestic abuse. Our essential services include specialist one-to-one therapy, therapeutic survivor groups, an LGBTQ+ refuge, work with children and families, as well as community engagement projects.
