Instead of gifts, for my 70th Birthday (in December), I'm hoping to raise at least £700 to be shared between 3 charities, of which Streetlight Trust is one.

I started going out to The Philippines in 2012 with Streetlight Trust to work with street children with the local charity KANLUNGAN sa Er-Ma Ministries (meaning safe haven). This inspirational charity has been running since 1986, when it was founded by the wonderful business woman Sol, who couldn't bear to see the poverty of street children in Manila. The charity has grown and developed but the children remain at the heart of everything they do.
