I have been working with LightAware now since July 2022 and they are a fantastic organisation to be involved with. I have heard stories of extreme isolation and digital exclusion from people for whom a simple trip to the supermarket for a pint of milk, a visit to their GP or accessing the internet is near impossible. More and more people are finding it difficult to tolerate modern lighting and LightAware is the only charity I know of who focus on the impact of the changing lighting environment on human health and wellbeing. This is an issue that affects not only the light-disabled but all of us.
