As a Lung Cancer Support Worker at Gloucestershire NHS Trust, I witness firsthand the profound impact that cancer has on individuals and their families. Each day, I see the strength and resilience of patients as they navigate their journey through treatment. While the dedication of our oncology team is truly remarkable, it is evident that the environment in which care is provided plays a crucial role in shaping the experiences of both patients and their loved ones.

This is why I am proud to be part of #TeamNHSGlos, supporting The Big Space Cancer Appeal at Run Cheltenham 2025. On September 21, 2025, we will come together that not only celebrates our commitment to improving cancer care but also raises vital funds to enhance the spaces where healing takes place. My target is to raise £250 to help create an environment that our patients deserve.
