Shane's running challenge

STEPS Rehabilitation Foundation help individuals and their families who have suffered a traumatic or life changing injury or condition including a traumatic or acquired brain injury, amputation or stroke. Support includes mobility aids, home adaptations, counselling and respite care.

Story

During the month of July, Shane and James will both be raising money for STEPS Foundation and we would all be so grateful for any donations!

Visiting STEPS Rehabilitation where his mum works, and meeting some of the incredible clients there, Shane began to understand the impact a traumatic injury had on a person's life and wanted to do something to help. James is also committed to supporting the STEPS Foundation and wanted to demonstrate his support for this worthy cause.

STEPS Rehabilitation Foundation provides funding for therapies or equipment for people who have suffered a traumatic or life-changing accident or condition, who cannot afford to pay themselves, do not have insurance, and have not received any compensation.

Shane has committed to running 31 miles during the month of July.

James has committed to embarrassing himself to support Shane’s amazing effort and has promised that, if he raises £500, he will go to work at the end of July in a dress, the photos of which will be shared for all to enjoy! If Shane raises £1000 then as well as sporting a lovely frock, James will sit for a make over session and go to work looking his very best in full glam makeup!
