Rust Bucket Rally – June 2026

June 2026 will mark the twelfth running of the Rust Bucket Rally, a unique charity challenge where a group of enthusiastic drivers take on an extraordinary journey across Europe. Participants drive approximately 2,500 miles over five days in cars worth around £1,000, affectionately known as “Rust Buckets.” It’s a demanding adventure and certainly not for the faint-hearted.

Since its inception, the rally has raised nearly £600,000 for 12 local charities, making a meaningful difference to communities and causes that need support.

This year, the rally is proud to support Petals, the baby loss counselling charity.

Petals provides specialist counselling for parents who have experienced the devastating loss of a pregnancy or the death of a baby. These heartbreaking experiences often bring not only profound grief but also significant trauma. Petals’ highly trained counsellors offer compassionate, professional support, helping parents navigate their grief and trauma and guiding them towards a place of hope and healing.

By supporting this challenge, you will be helping Petals deliver vital counselling sessions to bereaved parents, ensuring families receive the care and support they need during the most difficult time of their lives.

Well here we go again!

After letting the Stelvio pass (one of the best driving, most scenic and also most treacherous roads in the world, in the words of Jeremy Clarkson) get the better of us, and sadly having to pull out after two days, we’re giving it another go!

SAABEEN RIDES AGAIN, we’ve dusted the old girl off and along with over 100 other cars we’re going to take on this amazing challenge for a wonderful wonderful cause……..Petals.
