Story
My sister and I are running the London Marathon for the loved ones and friends who have been impacted by bowel cancer, and to support Bowel Cancer UK, a charity that is making a real difference.
Taking on our first marathon will be no easy feat—26.2 miles of perseverance and aching legs—but every mile is dedicated to those impacted by bowel cancer.
Why this matters to us:
Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in the UK, and sadly, it has taken far too many lives. Every mile we run is for them and for the hope that fewer families will have to experience this heartbreak in the future.
What Bowel Cancer UK does:
✅ Provides support and guidance to patients and families during the toughest times
✅ Funds life-saving research to improve early detection and treatment
✅ Raises awareness so more people recognize symptoms and get diagnosed early
Your donation will help ensure that fewer lives are lost and more families have hope.
Thank you so much for your support—any donation you can spare will help us get to the finish line and make a real difference in the fight against bowel cancer.
