In memory of Fiona Muirhead, fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer Research at the University Of Glasgow

We are raising money for the Pancreatic Cancer research team at the University of Glasgow in memory of Fiona Muirhead, beloved wife, mum, sister, cousin, aunty, granny and friend.
Fiona was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer only a few months prior to her passing away on the 4th of August. She closed her eyes for the last time at the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice with her husband Jonathan by her side. At just 68 years old, she died far too soon.
Pancreatic Cancer survival rate has remained largely unchanged for the past 40 years, at less than 5%. This is the worst survival outcome for any of the 21 most common cancers. Pancreatic Cancer only receives around 1% of National Cancer Research Institute Partners spend.
The money donated on this page will go to the research team lead by Dr Froeling, Fiona’s oncologist. Research for pancreatic cancer is vastly underfunded and any donations are greatly appreciated.
