Story
Thank you so, so much for being here.
In the summer of 2023, my amazing Godfather, Rod (pictured left) was diagnosed with an aortic aneurysm and coronary heart disease and died from complications post-surgery a few weeks later. He was the best Godfather a girl could ask for and I didn't get the opportunity to say goodbye to him properly.
With that in mind, I'm running the 2024 London Marathon in his memory and would love to raise as much money as I can for the British Heart Foundation in the process...
Which is where I'm hoping that you come in pretty please!?
Though I ran London back in 2016, I haven't run further than 10k since then (!) so I've got my work cut out over the next few months and would be SO grateful if you could please spare a few pennies and support me on this journey.
Since it was established, the BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. I would be so grateful if you could please help me to raise as much money as possible so that they can create new treatments and discover new cures going forward.
Thank you so much and let the training commence...
I'll be the sweaty mess crossing the finish line next April! x
