Instead of receiving gifts for my 30th birthday, I would rather donations go to Caithness and Sutherland Women's Aid. CASWA is a specialised organisation in Caithness and Sutherland for women and children who have experienced domestic abuse. CASWA also raise awareness and provide education about domestic abuse in all its forms.

Highland Council has threatened to centralise Women's Aid services to cut costs. Caithness and Sutherland spans 6,500km². Donating to this fundraiser not only supports the women and children in the North of Scotland, but also champions the community based work which is so vital across such a vast region.
