Story
I have been growing my hair for the past five years, and the time has finally come to have it cut.
The last time I had a proper haircut was in March 2020, just before the first Covid lockdown, and as the pandemic forced salons and barbers to close I decided to let my hair grow - I just never stopped.
The plan was always to donate my hair, and so I will be supporting the Little Princess Trust.
The charity provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or due to other conditions.
But I need your help to ensure that a wig can be made.
It costs, on average, £700 to provide one wig to a child or young person. This cost covers the making, fitting and styling of the wig.
Anything above this amount will go towards cancer research.
No matter the donation size, I would be incredibly grateful for your support.
Thank you, in advance! :)
(P.S. feel free to make suggestions about what hair style I should go for)
The cut will take place on Monday, September 29.
