Story
Further to completing the 3 Peaks in under 22 hours in April 2024 for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, I will be taking on the London Marathon on Sunday 26 April 2026.
I’m running because I want to push myself further than I ever have before, but more importantly, because every mile I run can help make life brighter for children who are seriously unwell and their families.
Noah’s Ark provides specialist care to babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, while also supporting their parents, carers and siblings. They give families precious time together, whether that’s through expert clinical support, emotional care, or creating moments of joy at their state-of-the-art hospice, The Ark.
What really struck me about Noah’s Ark is their belief that every child deserves the best possible quality of life, no matter how short it may be. That’s something I couldn’t ignore and it’s why I’m lacing up my running shoes.
Training for 26.2 miles won’t be easy, there will be long runs, sore legs, and tough mornings, but every step will be worth it knowing it supports families going through the toughest times.
I’d be so grateful for your support. Whether it’s a small donation, words of encouragement, or sharing my page, you’ll be helping Noah’s Ark continue their incredible work.
