Story
On Saturday 29th August 2026, I am stepping completely out of my comfort zone and doing something completely out of character! Believe it or not, I will be heading out to Brackley Airfield to take on a tandem skydive from 10,000 feet ā yikes!
This jump is in honour of my beautiful motherāinālaw, Mary Keane. She was a devoted Nana to my four children and a constant source of love and light in our lives. In her most difficult days, St Lukeās Hospice gave Mary extraordinary care, compassion, and dignity. They supported not only Mary, but every one of us ā wrapping our family in kindness when we needed it most.
The thought of jumping out of a plane at 120 mph utterly terrifies me ā but thatās why Iām doing it! This challenge reflects how much St Lukeās Hospice (Harrow and Brent) means to me after everything they did for our family back in March. This skydive is my way of giving back.
St Lukeās offers all its specialist end-of-life care completely free of charge to the Harrow and Brent community. However, they rely on public donations for most of their funding. I want to ensure other local families receive the same beautiful support that we did.
My goal is to raise £500. Every single pound raised will help support the hospice's vital work. If you can donate, no matter how small, I would be incredibly grateful. Your generosity means more to our family than words can say.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and please wish me luck!
