Our Mission

Hello everyone,

We are Agnieszka and Fionnuala, and on September 14th, we will be walking the Causeway Coast Half Marathon Walk. Our goal is to raise funds for Cancer Focus, a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts.

Our Story

This year has been particularly challenging for Agnieszka. Her brother recently lost his battle with cancer, and her mother is currently fighting this relentless disease. Additionally, our dear colleague Elaine is courageously battling secondary breast cancer. These personal battles, along with the countless family and friends who have suffered from cancer, have motivated us to take action and support research efforts aimed at finding better treatments and ultimately a cure.

Our Challenge

We have decided to walk the North Coast of Ireland half marathon, not only as a personal challenge but as a way to honour Agnieszka’s brother, her mother, our colleague Elaine, and all those affected by cancer. The scenic yet demanding route symbolises our journey and commitment to battling this disease head-on.
