Paul Durrant, Father, Chairman of Surbiton Chess Club, King George Bowls player, sculptor, internet bookseller, and dear friend to many has sadly passed away after fighting very hard against illness.

In his will his last request was instead of buying flowers a donation should be made to the Fircroft Trust. The Fircroft Trust is a local charity in Surbiton that supports adults with mental health issues and learning disabilities. Since it was so close to both Paul and his late wife, Sheila, a donation would be a perfect way to show your respect and support for his wishes.

Thank you so much. All gifts to Fircroft will be valued and used to help these good people who need support. The charity is a very worth cause.
