We are Benji, Will and Arno, year 10 students at Ashlyns School in Berkhamsted and this week we are walking 50km to raise money for the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.

50km was the distance that Benji’s’ great uncle was transported to hospital, following an industrial accident. Without the speed of the air ambulance, the expertise of the crew and his quick arrival at hospital, he may not have survived.

The Air Ambulance service relies on charitable donations, it is not government funded and you or our loved ones may need their help at some critical time in your lives. The Air Ambulance could make the difference between life and death.

Air ambulance crews bring the Emergency Department to patients who have suffered a life threatening or life changing trauma or medical emergency.
