First Military Recruitment – 10 Peak Challenge for The Buchanan Trust

On 10th October 2026, the team at First Military Recruitment will be taking on the 10 Peak Challenge across the Brecon Beacons to raise vital funds for The Buchanan Trust.

At First Military Recruitment, supporting the military community is at the heart of everything we do. Every day we help service leavers and veterans transition into meaningful civilian careers, so raising money for a charity that shares our commitment is something we're incredibly proud to do.

Three years ago, we completed the National Three Peaks Challenge, raising over £4,000 for The Buchanan Trust. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, those funds helped the charity continue providing life-changing assistance to veterans. This year, we're aiming to go even further by taking on an even bigger challenge.

The Buchanan Trust provides invaluable support to veterans by offering short-term accommodation, accredited training, practical guidance, work experience and employment opportunities, helping those who have served our country successfully transition into civilian life.

The challenge itself will test us both physically and mentally as we tackle ten peaks in a single day, but we know it is nothing compared to the challenges many veterans face after leaving the Armed Forces.
