A team from FISCAL Technologies is taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge to raise money for our chosen charity, Root & Branch Westmill. The challenge involves a 24-mile walk, 5000ft of vertical ascent and summitting three of the best-known peaks in the Yorkshire Dales (Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside). We have decided to take on this challenge to support our chosen local charity, Root & Branch Westmill, who help people who experience mental health difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder. Located on an organic farm in the beautiful Vale of the White Horse, we offer a wide range of interesting activities such as gardening, blacksmithing, woodworking, crafts, artwork, pottery, ceramics and cookery. This helps people to regain their self-esteem and hence lead a fuller life including returning to work or education.

Root & Branch Westmill are are an independent charity, partly funded by the Oxfordshire Mental Health Partnership. One of 8 recovery groups across Oxfordshire under the umbrella organisation, Restore.
