This year we will be walking the Edale Skyline. A circular route, covering over 21 miles and ascending almost 1400m!

The route includes Ringing Roger, Win Hill, Mar Tor and Brown Knoll, over rocky, grassy and flagstone trails.

We estimate the walk will take 8-10 hours.

We have decided to take on this challenge to support our chosen local charity, Root & Branch Westmill, who help people who experience mental health difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder. Located on an organic farm in the beautiful Vale of the White Horse, we offer a wide range of interesting activities such as gardening, blacksmithing, woodworking, crafts, artwork, pottery, ceramics and cookery. This helps people to regain their self-esteem and hence lead a fuller life including returning to work or education.
