We chose Bright Hope as our charity this year as it's a local charity to us and desperately needs funds. They do AMAZING work and many of our members volunteer for them.

The charity offers a range of therapeutic and social support, free of charge, to adults with life-limiting conditions or illnesses that significantly limits their quality of life to include:

Support cafes

Day care services

Specialist therapeutic service, complementary therapy, counselling and way back to wellness coaching services.

Befriending and volunteer driving

Bereavement support - a partnership with LOROS

They now have a wonderful building called Bright Hope House in Swannington. However, they need to maintain and sustain the premises and as they employ more staff than ever and more importantly, care for more guests and have since increased the type of care. This is obviously at a cost, they are still a very small local Charity and have only been open one year at Bright Hope House. Our guests have illnesses ranging from Cancer, MS, Parkinsons, COPD, Heart Disease, Stroke, Dementia, Wolfram Syndrome, loneliness and vulnerability issues.
