633KM Charity Cycle · 27 October 2024

Family Fund believes that all families raising disabled and seriously ill children should have the same opportunities as others. With our grants and services we aim to help break down many of the barriers these families face, improving their quality of life and easing the additional daily pressures.

Story

UPDATE 02/11: we’ve upped the target as you’ve all been so incredible!

UPDATE 23/10: Thank you so much to everyone that has donated so far, your incredible support means the world to all five of us and will help Family Fund in their mission to support families raising disabled and seriously ill children. Due to hitting the target a few days before we have decided to raise the target and go for gold!

Following on from the Brisbane To Melbourne cycle Miles, Nick, Ed, Jimmy & Zak AKA the Fitzroy Five will link up as a group for the first time since 2019 and tackle another serious challenge.

On 27th October 2024 we will be flying out to Seoul, South Korea and attempt to cycle from the top to the bottom of the country to the city of Busan. 633km in 6 days.

It seemed only right to carry out such a challenge in aid for charity and after a few months of research came across Family Fund, a charity providing vital grants and much more for families across the U.K.

‘Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people. Every day, families tell us how this support has a huge impact on their lives, but we want to make an even bigger difference to even more families. Last year, we provided over 150,000 grants or services across the UK.’

We know times are tough so please only give what you feel you can afford to donate!

Thanks again for supporting us once more!
