Flat Friends members are taking part in a 10/10/10 event this August! August 2024 is the 10th anniversary of our private Facebook group, and to celebrate we want to raise £10,000 so the charity can support more women in more ways.

Between 1st-10th August 2024 we will each be doing 10km our way every day - whether we are walking, jogging, cycling, or swimming. There may be the odd Park Run, or organised 10k event one day. Some days we may be clocking 10km while we are busy at work, followed by a trip to the gym and a long dog walk! But we will all be hitting our 10k target every day for 10 days, for women like us.

Flat Friends is dedicated to supporting women who have had single or double mastectomy surgery without breast reconstruction, including those who may face such decisions now or in the future, due to either a breast cancer diagnosis or preventative surgery. They provide online and face-to-face support, practical advice and emotional support. As well as promoting Living Flat after mastectomy as a positive outcome, and working towards access to informed choice for all mastectomy patients in the future.
