This fundraising campaign is particularly close to our hearts as a business.

One of our colleagues, Dawn, was diagnosed with breast cancer and, during what was undoubtedly one of the most difficult and frightening times of her life, she was cared for by the incredible team at the Shooting Star Cancer Ward at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

The care, compassion and support Dawn received from the team made such a difference to her and to those around her. Cancer doesn't just affect the person going through treatment — it affects their family, friends and colleagues too. Having a dedicated team there to provide expert care, reassurance and kindness can mean more than words can say.

As a business, we wanted to find a way to give something back to the people who were there for Dawn when she needed them most.

That is why we have chosen to raise money for the Shooting Star Cancer Ward.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support the important work carried out by the ward and help make a difference to other patients and families facing their own cancer journeys.

We know that we can never truly repay the kindness and care Dawn received, but we hope that by raising money, we can help the ward continue providing that same support to others in the future.
