Our Flex Health Team of colleagues and clients returning from surgeries are running the Hull 10k raising money for Age UK! Age UK work within the community to help our aging population integrate into society and support their needs.

Age UK Hull & East Yorkshire (HEY) is a local, independent charity dedicated to improving the lives of older people in Hull and the surrounding areas. Their mission is to provide support, advice, and essential services that help older individuals stay independent, active, and connected to their community.

What They Do:

Advice & Information – Free, confidential guidance on benefits, housing, and care.

Practical Support – Home support, befriending services, and digital inclusion programs.

Health & Wellbeing – Social groups and falls prevention services to combat loneliness and promote active lifestyles.

Advocacy & Campaigning – Raising awareness of issues affecting older people and ensuring their voices are heard.

While some of their services receive funding, much of what they do relies on donations, grants, and fundraising efforts to keep going.
