Story
My mum died of Pancreatic Cancer the 17th of October 2025 in Argentina, where I'm from. It was a 10month battle since she got diagnosed, through which we got 3 incredible months where the chemo was working and we made the best out of that time.
She faught through it with incredibly dignity, and made sure her time left was spent with the people she loved around her.
I've never been a runner, I've always told myself I couldn't do it because of my asthma, because I run like Pheobe (Friends reference) or just because. I'm doing this for her, for myself, and for all the people who are effected by this horrible illness.
It's an incredible tough cancer and incredibly tough to diagnose early because the signs are so generic - this is why raising awareness and being informed and early diagnosis makes an incredible difference! Not just a few months, but years with the people diagnosed.
