As many who know me are aware I struggle with my mental health. Like so many others out there who also suffer, I know we are not alone.

However, bad mental health does make you feel alone, lost inside yourself. It affects every aspect of daily life and impacts on those around you.

Support on every level helps and I’m wanting to raise funds for this mental health charity in the hope others will feel supported with their journey.

For me, working with my hands to create treasures brings me such calm, joy and clear head space. It’s a therapy I couldn’t survive without.

So with that in mind I have created a crochet bear I have named ‘Fern’ who I am raffling for Mind.

Fern is crocheted from a bear pattern by @pinktomatocrochet and all the trimmings are my own. She has a reclaimed lace undershirt and wears a green gingham dress that is trimmed with layers of old lace. I have hand stitched beads to her skirt and it has a green velvet waist trim.

The bow on her ear is also made from old lace and finished with matching beads.

She stands approx 11 inches high and is an heirloom piece. SHE IS NOT A TOY or to be given to children to play with.

Virtual raffle tickets to win Fern are just £2 each and all funds go directly to the Mind charity.

For each £2 donated you will be entered into a prize draw. So £4 will give you 2 entries, £10 will give you 5 entries and so on. There is no limit to how many entries you can have other than how much you’d like to donate.

So I can contact you if you are the winner, please mark your donation with your instagram name or email address.

Sadly any donations that are kindly given but marked as anonymous will not be able to be entered into the draw as I will not be able to identify you!

I will make a spread sheet of all donations and the sheet will be shuffled to issue random numbers. The draw will take place using a random number generator and winner will be notified either by a public post on my Instagram @florahoneypot or via email.

The raffle draw entries will close at 8pm GMT on Sunday 23rd March 2025 and the winner announced within 24 hours.

This is open worldwide and I will personally cover postage costs. Please be aware if you are overseas you will be responsible for any duty or import charges.
