Story
After completing the Viking way in 2020 we always talked about what our next adventure would be. Well… it’s finally here. In March Flora, Martha, Rowan, Sam, Hugh and Francis will be undertaking the west highland way.
The west highland way is an 100 mile long distance path from Glasgow to Fort William. With a mixture of wild camping, staying in bothies and some accommodation hopefully we’ll make it to the end where we hope to summit Ben Nevis to round off the journey.
We wanted to once again raise money for a good cause and our discussions centred on environment focused charities. We decided to pick a Scottish one as that is where the path is and we settled on the John Muir Trust.
The John Muir Trust believes that wild places and the experience of wildness are vital to our lives. They work with others to repair and rewild damaged ecosystems, looking after some of the most magnificent landscapes from the far north west of Scotland to the Lake District in England
