About five years ago I was diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer and whilst it was a terrible time for me and my family, thanks to the breakthroughs in cancer treatment I have been able to return to work and lead a relatively normal life. 10 years ago that would not have been possible.

There have been some amazing discoveries in recent years and the hope is that new ways are found to keep my cancer at bay and help more people living with cancer achieve a good quality of life. There are so many good causes and I have selected Cancer Research simply because it has been a gamechanger for me.
