Florence's fundraiser for Royal Berks Charity

Reading Half Marathon 2025 · 23 March 2025 ·
I am running the Reading half marathon for the Royal Berks Charity as it will impact my life both personally and professionally. I have worked as a midwife at the Royal Berkshire Hospital for the past 2 years and have seen the impact the Royal Berks charity has on both patients and staff.
At the moment the Royal Berks charity are raising funds for the following causes at the hospital:
- Buscot Neonatal Incubator Appeal - Help us save tiny lives: support our appeal to fund 11 lifesaving neonatal incubators.
- Breast Screening Appeal - The West Berkshire Breast Screening Programme is raising £130,000 for a new piece of mammography equipment for its mobile screening unit.
- Oasis Wellbeing Garden Appeal - Royal Berks Charity has launched an appeal to create a garden that not only enhances the wellbeing of staff but also supports the Trust to achieve other goals: a zero carbon strategy, community engagement, staff recruitment and retention, improved health outcomes for the wider community and new partnerships with the town.
- Jacobs Cardiology Appeal - helping to boost the cardiac care outpatient experience.
It would mean a great deal to me if you could contribute anything, even if a small amount, to help the Royal Berkshire Hospital keep improving lives!
