In June 2023 my lovely daughter-in-law Lauren lost her beautiful mam Jan suddenly to a Stroke just 8 weeks before her wedding to my step son. Just 2 weeks earlier we were all together having an amazing time at Laurens Hen Fest and she was the picture of health.

In memory to Jan we are taking part in 62 miles in October 2025 to help keep active and raise vital funds to help stroke survivors find strength through support. Jan's stroke affected all 3 parts of her brain, raising vital funds can help support 88,000 survivors and their families every year to find their way back to life. Surviving a stroke is just the start of a long and gruelling recovery journey.
